Some of you might think that it is disgusting or gross to even touch any of that trash let alone make any money from it. Well, it might be to your surprise that some of the things that you threw away might be valuable and worth quite the cash.

It can definitely help you with those unsettled bills and debts that you have. Here are some of the trash that you can actually sell for money:

1. Old Perfume Bottles

Of course, most of us must have owned at least one perfume bottles and what do you usually do to the bottle? Well, throw it away into the bin. However, those empty bottles might be of value to certain collectors out there especially the antique ones.

Sometimes, it is best to keep them in a safe place and some of them can be later sold for more than $100. There are also certain shops out there where you can simply refill the bottle, for example, the angle perfume.

Or you can simply sell them on eBay for some quick cash.

2. Used Cooking Oil

A lot of times, people usually just throw out their used cooking oil simply because who wants to reuse it right?! It is rather unhygienic to reuse the oil again for cooking but one thing that you can do is resell them.

Cooking oil is a good source of biodiesel that can be used by certain cars as well as to heat up your homes. What a great way to utilize what you already have and you can definitely save up some bills instead of using the heater at home.

You can sell them on craigslist to potential buyers out there and you can expect it to be sold over the winters since there are many buyers out there seeking for fuel to heat up their home. Besides you simply don't want to throw the oil into the gutter. That will ruin your surroundings and the environment.

Go Green!

3. Old Postcards

Remember the times when you used to travel the world and get one of those postcards as souvenirs. Well, those precious things might be worth a lot to some collectors especially if the postcards are very antique and unique.

You never know of the rarity of some of the postcards and you definitely cash in the banks by selling them on eBay. Who knows if one of them is worth thousands of dollars.

4. Broken Electronics

There are certain compartments in electronic devices that are rather valuable and can be sold for some cash. These can be your old DVDs or even your old cellphone from the 90s that are simply obsolete already. Rather than having them sit in your stores for a long time without any benefit, you might as well get rid of it by selling them on Craigslist or eBay.

Some of them might be worthless but it is better to sell them for cash rather than just throw it away. Besides, there are even in some cases where you can find gold in PC compartments but you have to collect loads of them to make it worthwhile.

But hey, money's money right!

5. Maps and Theme Park's Guide

It might be insane to actually sell old maps to buyers out there but some people have managed to sell the for quite some cash. They might be worthless to you but not to collectors out there. For instance, a 1968 Disneyland Guide was sold for $35 on eBay.

6. Golf Balls

Ever had a hobby of playing golf? Well if you ever own unused golf balls, you can definitely sell them to mini-golf course as they are more than willing to take those golf balls from you. You can expect to get them sold for anywhere between 10 to 25 cents per golf ball.

You can try your luck and sell it on eBay since some good quality golf balls can go up to $1 per ball.

7. Human Hair

Some of you might be a little hesitant to do this since nobody wants to sacrifice their own beautiful hair for money right. But it still can be done regardless and if you don't mind about it, you can always get it sold on eBay.

Believe it or not, a ponytail was once sold for $20 - $200 depending on the quality of the hair of course. The longer and more healthy the hair is, the more you will get in return.

That is just some of the lists that I think are considered trash but can be sold for money. There is a bunch of other things that you might have sold yourself and you can comment below for any extraordinary things that you got cash for.
